This blog portrays the dramatic story of how I became a future incredibly successful indie developer and a more interesting person to boot.
Step 1: Quit my cushy career at Microsoft to become an indie developer and live a more adventurous life.
Step 3: Profit.
By my calculations, worst case this plan would take less than 1 year to execute.
That was 2 years ago.
I recover from a devastating breakup, hit the road in “Hotel Prius”, sleep at truck stops across the United States, travel outside the Americas for the first time, manage a café in Malta with no prior experience, spend time with family, and meet a lot of interesting people along the way. It’s all here in my blog.
I begin YouTube vlogging in my parent’s garage in Florida and now Manhattan, where I’m expanding my portfolio of mobile apps and games, shipping failure after failure.
By my calculations, my odds of success are increasing dramatically with each failure.
I mean, I can’t fail forever, right?
