Time to take stock of where this little adventure has led thus far.
I have no job.
No car.
No money.
No woman.
No place to call home.
Is this interesting?
Seems like a lot of reasons to be unhappy.
But what would I change?
I have so much freedom.
My spirit feels light.
I’ve had the adventure of a lifetime.
I can’t wait to see what’s next.
I thoroughly enjoyed the food, coffee, outdoor, and music culture of Seattle from a studio apartment overlooking a beautiful cityscape.
Helped start a successful business.
Sold wares on the street.
Published some apps.
Drove across the country sleeping in my car.
Met Kailey. (Awesome!)
Watched the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. (Sort of.)
Hung out in Hell’s Kitchen.
Lived in Malta.
Managed a café.
Met interesting people.
Made new friends.
And now I’m listening to the birds chirping in the sunshine on the swing on my mom’s back porch.
So which part of that would I give up for the cozy but stifling job I held in corporate America?
None of it.
Except for maybe sending that one text message before I hit the car in front of me.
But other than that–
Not.
One.
Thing.
